Recommended Accommodations

With the venue ~20-30 minutes away from downtown Portland, there are a plethora of great hotel & AirBnB options to choose from if you're visiting from out of town.

Below you'll find a list of recommended places below to stay curated for your convenience, but we encourage you to explore other options that best fit your preferences and budget.

Silver Cloud Hotel

The Silver Cloud Hotel is a comfortable and affordable option located in Portland’s Northwest district near the Pearl. The hotel is a two block walk from NW 23rd street with a variety of restaurants and shops. With nearby highway access, the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Portland International Airport and approximately 25-30 minutes from our wedding venue.

Jupiter NEXT

Located in Portland's lively Central Eastside district, Jupiter NEXT is a modern boutique hotel with stunning views of the city skyline. The surrounding neighborhood hosts a variety of popular restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Portland International Airport and roughly 30-35 minutes from our wedding venue.

The Kennedy School

McMenamins Kennedy School is a uniquely Portland space. Set inside a renovated 1915 elementary school, this hotel features a restaurant, multiple small bars, a movie theater, a heated soaking pool, and a brewery. The nearby Alberta Arts District offers a variety of restaurants, cafés, galleries, and shops within walking distance. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Portland International Airport and roughly 35 minutes from our wedding venue.

Airbnb/Vrbo

Airbnb and Vrbo are also great options for guests visiting from out of town. Portland has a wide range of short-term rentals available, from private rooms to full homes, many located in charming neighborhoods throughout the city. These can be a good choice for guests traveling in groups or those who prefer a more residential stay.

Transportation

Guests should plan for roughly a 30 minute trip to and from the venue with ample free parking available. If you're visiting from out of town, we recommend renting a car for the most reliable transportation. There are unfortunately no public transportation options to and from the venue.

If you do need to rely on a rideshare service, we highly recommend carpooling with others you know (or just met at the wedding!) and booking your ride in advance. Please be aware that drivers may cancel assigned rides and options may be limited later in the night. Booking as a large group and in advance may help your odds of avoiding a cancellation, but never book a ride you wouldn't feel comfortable potentially waiting another hour for.

Event Attire

We invite guests come to dressed in cocktail attire. Feel free to embrace your personal style while keeping it refined and comfortable for an evening of celebration. Kids may come in whatever cloths mom or dad are willing to help with in the morning :).

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in the garden, so make sure you won't be too hot in the summer sun but hold onto a jacket for later in the night!
